I had a great stay here, it really did what it said on the tin! Ideal location for those travelling from north to south, or east to west! Close to M6!

Lovely place to stay and exactly as described. Kelly sent all information needed beforehand and she was very quick on messages. We parked at the free Union Lane car park which is just a few minutes walk from the property. It was a great location for us as we were attending a wedding at Hidden River Barn which was only a 20 min drive away.

My partner and I can’t thank Kelly and Liam enough for hosting us! We were travelling for Portsmouth to Glasgow and needed somewhere last minute to rest and relax after a long drive! The air b and b was really lovely, amazing attention to detail and a huge space! The complimentary snacks and small gestures like the heart blanket was super cute and their communication was great made us feel so welcome and as if we were just staying at a friend’s home! Thank you so much it’s such a beautiful flat and when leaving we wished we travelled even earlier to enjoy the space more! Would 100% recommend perfect for a couple looking for somewhere private and quiet to stay and relax.

This is a quite wonderful property. Beautifuly presented in all aspects, spacious with separate bedroom, bathroom, sitting room and kitchen. Kelly and Liam have thought of everything you could need for a stay of any length. It was a fabulous surprise and great value for money too.

On a cold evening, the Retreat provided a snug and cosy sanctuary. It is a superb, self-contained accommodation, impressively appointed and immaculately presented. Spotlessly clean! We felt immediately comfortable and at home. Kelly and Liam are brilliant hosts. They are super friendly, and are an entirely inspiring couple. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, leaving rested and reinvigorated.

The Studio was perfect for me, my sister and my Dog 🐶. Everything we needed was there, very comfortable. Kelly was very helpful and we hope to visit again. Great pubs and great food at Charlie’s just around the corner. Easy access to Hadrians wall - a perfect base.

Kelly was very accommodating and welcoming and was there if we needed anything, which was really helpful. The Annex was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and it had everything we needed. Definitely recommended.

We stayed for one night , as we are at a family christening the next morning. It was very convenient, central and very nicely decorated. We had a lovely meal at the Howard Arms . Great all round !

This place is absolutely fantastic, we used it as a stopover on our way further north and couldn’t have been happier with it. Great garden for our dog to use (and play with the resident dogs!) The area looks very interesting and it might be a good base to tour from.

The apartment is beautiful; it’s quite comfortable. The locals are friendly and peaceful. Kelly has been super helpful with information, such as assistance with information we need to know, has paper on walls to help you with what you need, etc. Also, they even give instructions if you don’t know how to turn them on. Also, there are a few leaflets that tell you what you can do and how to order food. I definitely recommend booking this.
